Baby Yogurt Melts

Yogurt melts are one of my all-time favorite baby recipes. We started out feeding Lela the Gerber brand of yogurt melts, but she could go through an entire bag in a week, and I wasn't a huge fan of the ingredients. I've been experimenting with different recipes and ingredients and recently made my most favorite batch yet!
Lela absolutely loves homemade yogurt melts, and I have a blast experimenting with different ingredients. The best thing about this recipe is that you can swap out any of the fruits or veggies. You just want to make sure that the yogurt mixture isn't super runny.

Ingredients:
1 cup yogurt*
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
Handful of spinach

*We like Dannon Vanilla yogurt, but you can use Plain yogurt. Just make sure that it's thick. Whole milk yogurts are wonderful for this recipe!

Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
2. Blend 1/2 cup yogurt with the blueberries, strawberries, and spinach.
3. Mix in the other 1/2 cup of yogurt with a spoon. It's important not to blend it all at one time because it will become runny. If the mixture is too runny either add more yogurt or refrigerate for 20-30 mins. Never put it in the freezer because it will freeze unevenly causing you problems in the next step.
3. Transfer mixture to a piping bag (you can also use a Ziploc bag and cut the end off) and pipe dots onto the wax paper.
4. Place in freezer until completely frozen through. Once frozen, transfer to a labeled freezer-safe bag. They'll keep in the freezer for about month if they last that long!

Has anyone else made these before? Any fun ingredients I should try??

Cheers!
Mandy
